Kids *FREE* Capoeira Open House

Sunday, August 31 from 2-3pm + Open Roda from 3-5pm 1690 S Eastwood Dr, Unit A (back of building) • Woodstock, IL Free, but donations are always appreciated

Kids love to dance, play music, and learn along the way — which capoeira provides all three. Let your kiddos test it out before signing up for a 6-week session.

Following the open house is an open roda. An "open roda" in Capoeira refers to a Capoeira circle (roda — pronounced ho-dah) that is open to anyone, regardless of their skill level or affiliation with a particular group. It's a public event where Capoeiristas of all backgrounds can come together to play, learn, and exchange with one another.

THE CENTER is a nonprofit playscape featuring and inspiring local art, music, culture, and movement with the inherent knowledge of being stronger together.

PARKING: Thank you for your patience as we work towards getting permanent signs. The building is next to Rosati's Pizza. If you park in the front (where our new sign is located under the clock), enter the double doors and walk down the hallway to the back of the building. If you park in the back, those double doors (under the temporary sign) take you directly to the space.
